Giselle Bundchen recently did an interview for Vanity Fair magazine and talked about Tom Brady and Bridget Monyhan's son (her stepson.) After saying she has never met Bridget, she said:
I understand that he has a mom, and I respect that, but to me it’s not like because somebody else delivered him, that’s not my child. I feel it is, 100 percent. I want him to have a great relationship with his mom, because that’s important, but I love him the same way as if he were mine. I already feel like he’s my son, from the first day.”
On one hand, it's nice to know your child is so incredibly loved when he isn't with you—you'd hate to think he's around someone who doesn't love him completely. But on the other hand, he's not her child, you know?
Maybe what she was trying to say came out wrong.
