So, I've been a vegetarian for about a week now, and I have to say... my stomach is flatter. I didn't do this to lose weight (although I need to and, um, nice side effect!) and I don't think not eating meat is what's made it this way, I just think I'm eating better—more fruits and veggies—and therefore, looking better.
I've allowed myself to eat fish, so the whole thing has been surprisingly easy. Andie told me that her friend Yvonne says this is called being a "pescetarian," as opposed to a vegetarian. Yvonne has a website called The Traveling Vegetarian, on which she posts webisodes about traveling the country as a vegetarian. It's really cute; check it out.
So anyway, so far, so good! I'll keep you posted about any big changes!
Btw, Andie's dog Scruffy has a HUGE crush on Beverly. Click here to see pictures of him. (I hope Bev's belly doesn't turn him off.)
